The First District Council Meeting (DCM) for the Rotaract Year 2015/2016 took place on Saturday, the 11th of July at the United Nations compound. The DCM was hosted by the Rotaract Clubs of the University of Colombo, Faculty of Arts and Colombo Uptown.
At the meeting, DRR Rtr. PHF PP Sathiyendra Tharmakulerajasingham spoke of Rotasia as one of the biggest upcoming projects for the district. It was stressed upon however, that Rotasia would not be the District Council’s only initiative and that projects from all avenues should be of high quality and professionalism.
The district was then wished good luck for an empowered year ahead in the hopes that each Rotaractor would perform well together through the colouful year that the District has planned.
